Happy new year everyone!

I generally don't take any new year resolution but this year I want to make an exception.
I feel it is high time I actively work toward my dreams. I want to spend more time drawing, painting and creating altogether.
I always felt like I needed Art in my life to feel complete but I also always delayed the moment when I would create. I felt paralysed by the idea of creating anything that would not be good enough. But at some point you have to accept that creating pieces you are not satisfied with is part of the journey to improvement.

So my resolution for this year and my wish for all of you is to find the strength to overcome fear, procrastination and any artist's block. Let's all move forward and learn and create more together!

Je ne prends généralement pas de résolutions au nouvel an mais cette année j'ai décidé de faire une exception.
J'ai le sentiment qu'il est grand temps que je travaille activement à la réalisation de mes rêves. Je souhaite prendre plus de temps pour dessiner, peindre et créer une d'une manière générale.
J'ai toujours senti que j'avais besoin de l'Art dans ma vie pour m'épanouir mais j'ai également toujours repoussé le moment de me mettre à créer. J'étais paralysée à l'idée de créer quelque chose qui ne serait pas assez bien, mais au bout du compte il faut savoir accepter que le fait de créer des oeuvres dont on n'est pas totalement satisfait fait partie du cheminement vers l'amélioration.

Ma résolution pour cette nouvelle année et mon souhait pour vous tous est que nous puissions trouver la force de dépasser la peur, la procrastination et les blocages artistiques.
Ensemble allons de l'avant pour apprendre et créer toujours plus !

 As we were walking in the forest, trying to find a nice spot for a photo shoot, we saw this tree all alone in the middle of a clearing with a log at its foot just like a seat, waiting for us.

Alors que nous marchions dans la forêt à la recherche d'un endroit pour la séance photo nous avons vu cet arbre tout seul au milieu d'une clairière avec une bûche pour s’asseoir à ses pieds. Il semblait nous attendre

After lending a hand for some photo shoots I was really eager to try my hand at photography.

I was already doing make up and photo retouching... all that was left was to take the pictures myself.

Après avoir aidé pour des shootings j'ai eu très envie de m'essayer à la photographie.
Je faisais déjà du maquillage et de la retouche photo. Tout ce qu'il me manquait c'était de prendre les photos moi-même.
